I just saw my dress in your portfolio and realized that I never praised your fantastic work in your guestbook! My gown was special indeed, and I am so pleased at how it turned out! Working with Wende has been a fantastic experience. She pays meticulous attention to the fine details and her work is of the highest quality. "Nearly one and a half years ago, we at Cynthia's Bridal Emporium unexpectedly found ourselves without a seamstress and many weddings booked in the up coming months. Just starting out ourselves, we were desperate to fully satisfy our customers and contacted the lovely ladies at 'The Red Thread'. Wende and her colleagues jumped in with both feet and helped us out when we really needed it and she has been our 'alterations lady' ever since. During the time we have worked together, we have seen Wende do basic alterations such as taking in and letting out side seams and hems. We have also seen her do amazing things like rushing to the shop, fitting a gown, completing alterations, designing and making a matching cape --- all in less than 24 hours! She has also put lace-up backs into both prom and wedding gowns and designed a suspended bustle, just to name a few. We feel fortunate and very happy to have Wende working with us and our customers."

Wow what a great site! I have had alterations from you before and I have always been satisfied with all your work and wouldn't think of bringing all my projects and alterations any where else. I absolutely love The Red Thread! I cannot even thread a needle (I don't even think I own one!) let alone hem or sew anything! In order for my youngest daughter to have any pants that fit, I have to buy them bigger in the waist, so of course, they are 6 inches too long. Thank God for Wende and her sewing magic!! All I have to do is drop them off at our local grocery store and a few days later, they come back all hemmed up and just perfect! I cannot say enough good things about Wende and The Red Thread. If you have any type of sewing or altering, let Wende handle it for you! Her services and especially her talents, are amazing! Any thing that involves sewing of any kind, do not hesitate to call Wende!!
